Meditation

Meditation is a foundation of the LifeShift Program.

Meditation is an important tool that has the ability to bring a new perspective to life’s challenges, where you become more of a witness to the inner workings of your mind and emotions. It is a way to find peace within one’s self in spite of the conflict, confusion and challenges that may be going on within and around you.

With consistent practice you begin to experience a place within yourself that can only be described as light and blissful. Meditation takes us ever closer to the essence of who we are!

During the LifeShift Program two meditation practices are taught.

The first practice is utilizing the intimate and immediate length of one`s breath as a focal point. The Breath has been central to many Buddhist meditation practices and is referenced in many sacred texts throughout the ages.

The other practice is known as a mantra. A mantra is simply the silent repetition of a specific word or grouping of words to assist the practitioner in not only having a focus but also quieting the obsessive chatter of the mind.

The development of a meditation practice is supported and encouraged through daily practice during the full course of the LifeShift Program.

Both Harreson and Blanche have been long time meditation practitioners. They were both initiated into a practice known as Knowledge, taught by Prem Pal Rawat (Maharaji).
